February 22 - February 28, 2005
(25 Weeks)

Well, I survived the rice cereal as you can see from the picture show to the left.  I wasn't too sure about it at first but eventually the taste grew on me.  During my 2nd attempt later that night, most of the cereal landed in my belly rather than on my chin!

Tomorrow I will be six months old!  To celebrate I will be receiving my next round of wellness shots.  Some hurray for me :-(.

February 15 - February 21, 2005
(24 Weeks)

I think I am starting to understand cause and effect.  I effectively (and repetitively) drop my cube on the floor which causes Mommy to pick it up over and over again.  I have also been practicing sitting.  I can sit by myself for about 30 seconds or so.  I know that probably doesn't sound very long but believe me when I say that it feels like an eternity.  On Sunday I am going to try my first bites of rice cereal.  Be sure to tune in next week for the full report (and pictures)!

February 8 - February 14, 2005
(23 Weeks)

I am talking up a storm but nobody seems to understand me.  I am ok with this since I am really interested in hearing my own voice anyway.  A few weeks ago I got a lot of folks excited about my rolling over - well that was short lived.  Lately my arm refuses to cooperate and I am getting stuck half way.  I get pretty angry when this happens.  One of my favorite songs right now is - Toe, Knee, Chest, Nut.  I laugh and squeal with glee when Mommy sings it to me.

February 1 - February 7, 2005
(22 Weeks)

I turned 5 months old yesterday!  To celebrate, Mommy put together my big girl chair so I could sit at the table with her, daddy, and whomever happens to be over for dinner.  I am getting bigger every day - I even moved up to the size 2 diapers.  Tomorrow I get to go to my play group and see other babies!  Hurray!
