Wilson's party was so much fun! I
made hats for everyone and I also helped Mommy make Wilson's cake. I
did most of the work and even got to crack an egg (with help). I sang
Happy Birthday to Wilson while I played my keyboard. It was a festive
event!
Speaking of singing I have been composing
my own songs. Mommy's favorite song is the Mommy Song. The
lyrics are..."I love my Mommy...she is so cute...and she is so nice."
I sing my songs while playing my keyboard so not only am I writing my own
tunes I am composing the music for them as well.
Mommy and I were drawing today and I was
doling out the crayons. Mommy decided that she was going to take the
crayons that she wanted before I was ready to give them to her. I told
her to stop not once but twice. I then told her that she was not
listening and that she was going to get a time out if she didn't start.

"Right now Rachel?"
"NO! Now! Mommy"
"Right now?"
"No NOW!"

It snowed today and it was finally warm
enough to spend some time outside so I donned my snow gear and went outside
with Wilson and Mommy. I made fun tracks in the snow, shoveled, and
made a snow angel by myself! Wilson ran around the yard like a crazy
dog and he got snow on his nose - it was SO funny.
I have been enjoying my time with baby
Ian. We have been singing songs together and I help him do "Open Shut
Them." He likes to watch me eat and smiles at me all the time. I
love baby Ian.
On Friday it's Wilson's birthday. He
will be 5. We are going to buy him some gifts this week and on Friday
we are having a party for him. There will be cake (that I am going to
help make it) and everything. Mommy even got some special dog wrapping
paper and I get to wrap my gift to Wilson. I am so excited!
I am becoming quite the chef and I help
Mommy make dinner. I've made all sorts of things from salmon marinade
to nachos and English muffin pizzas to cookies. I like to help out in
the kitchen.

Wow! There is SO much to tell this
week. First and most exciting is that I went and saw Laurie Berkner
with Mommy. We had great seats and I got to see Laurie, Susie, and
Adam sing all my favorite songs - well except Moon, Moon, Moon. I was
a little disappointed about that. But they did sing my other favorite
songs - the Goldfish Song, Dinosaurs, and Shaky Egg and I danced and sang
along with them. At the end I wanted to go and give Laurie a kiss but
Mommy said I wouldn't be able to - so I got this really fun green shirt
instead! I picked it out myself!
The second exciting thing this week is
that Mommy made me a Wonder Pets cape - just like Ming Ming Duckling!!!
She still needs to do a few minor adjustments but I got to wear it for a
little while today and I LOVE it!
Lastly, I showed great interest in the
letters that make up words in my books. I sat with Mommy and queried
her on the letters that I did not know. For example I knew b and l l
in ball but not the a. I find letters very fascinating.

I told Mommy that I needed some new hair
bows. You see I wear one everyday and needed a larger assortment.
Anyway, they came in the mail today and I had Mommy put all of them in my
hair at the same time. I can be so silly!
Today I also went to a special child care
class while Mommy took baby Ian to his first baby class. I had a good
time with the teacher. I am getting to be such a big girl and can "go
by myself." Afterwards I had a happy meal.
I get Wild Animal Babies, a magazine, and
this month has porcupines. I have been giving porcupine kisses
(rubbing noses) with Mommy, Daddy, and baby Ian. I also like getting
butterfly kisses on my cheeks.

much for me (in reference to the number of nacho chips on her
