September 25 - October 1, 2007

It was nice getting back to school this week.
I did lots of art projects and Mommy installed two cork strips in Wilson's
room so that we could decorate the walls with all of my new art. It is
like our very own mini gallery.
At the end of the week we went back to
Michigan as Grandpa Jim passed away on Friday, September 28. Ma's
house was very busy as people were dropping by all the time. There
were lots of flowers and people were sad. We went to Ma's church and
Mommy and some other people talked about Grandpa Jim. I was Ma's
shadow all weekend and I even slept with her in the big bed. When I
told Mommy that I miss Grandpa Jim and that I wanted to see him when he
comes home from the hospital Mommy said that he was very sick and that his
body stopped working so we wouldn't be able to see him anymore.
September 18 - September 24, 2007

Grandpa Jim is very sick so Mommy, Ian and I
went back to Michigan to see him. Well Ian and I didn't actually get
to see him because he was at the hospital so only Mommy and Ma went. I
got to stay at Lincoln's house and play and watch the new Backyardigan's
movie. While we were visiting I also got to go to the farm with my
great grandma, Mommy, and Ian. We saw lots of animals and a pig that
was going to have babies. Ian really liked the pigs a lot. I
liked the chickens and the goats.
I was very impressed to learn that they have
Burger King in Michigan and this is where I chose to have lunch on our way
there and on our way home. Ian and I were very good for Mommy in the
car.

September 11 - September 17, 2007

I went to the dentist for the very first time
and I learned that I have 20 teeth - 10 on top and 10 on the bottom.
The hygienist counted my teeth, cleaned them, and put a fluoride treatment
on them. I also got a new purple dinosaur tooth brush, cup and and egg
timer that I use while I am brushing my teeth. I get to use real
fluoride toothpaste now and I have gotten really good at spitting it out in
the sink.
I started preschool full time this week.
I have three teachers and I like them very much. We play on the
playground and inside. We do art and have a snack. We also have
a pet bunny named Flopsy. He is so cute and very soft. I already
know some of the kids in my class but there are a lot of new faces too.
We got to go to my school on Sunday for an Ice Cream social. I ate
part of my ice cream and Ian ate his and the rest of mine! I got to
play on the playground it was so fun.
We celebrated Rosh Hashanah this week by
having a family dinner at the house. I wore a dress and my tap dancing
shoes (they are black sparkly shoes). I love my tap dancing shoes and
like to wear them with everything.
I really like to dress up and I have a fancy
"Ginger Rogers" type dress up dress that I LOVE to wear as often as I can.
Mommy lets me wear it and my crown to the store or on our walks but Daddy is
not as brave and makes me take it off before we leave the house.

Happy Birthday to me for now I am 3!
Mommy took this picture of me first thing on my birthday. Notice that
I am wearing my cubs shirt. The reason for that is that the Cubbies
celebrated my birthday with me! I was at the game you see.
Unfortunately they did not win - maybe they had too much cake before the
game. Butter cream frosting can really impact ones game if you're not
careful. After the game we had my 3rd Birthday celebration at home
with just Mommy, Daddy, Ian and Wilson. I wanted pepperoni pizza
(granted) and I had a special birthday fruit salad (with candles) instead of
cake. Then it was present time - lots of fun stuff books, puzzles,
clothes, Wonder Pets CD, and a sushi set.
On Saturday (my friend Aidan's birthday)
we went to see Ralph's World. It was great. Even Ian was
dancing. Oh and we had cupcakes for Aidan's big day!
On Monday I had my 4th and final (I think)
birthday celebration with Pa, Livia, Dorina, Grandma Gigi and some friends
from Hungary. I had a cake with "very beautiful and yummy" frosting.
I also had a fever but I am fine. I got a really nice outfit from
Dorina and baby Colleen got some clothes and shoes from Grandma Gigi.
I was really excited about my other gift from Grandma Gigi - a digital
camera! I have been taking a LOT of pictures. I took over 60
before lunch yesterday! Stay tuned as a foresee a new section for the
