38 Months - November 2007

November 27 - December 3, 2007
(3 years 13 weeks)

Ian and I got our picture taken for Daddy to give to him for Hanukkah (I can type this now since I am actually writing what happened this week about 10 days later and he's already seen the photos).  Some of you reading this might be getting one of the photos so I will show them online later - after you've seen them too.

It's getting a little crowded in my bed these days as baby Colleen and baby Rachel insist on sleeping with me and my lovey (brown dog blanket that is under the covers).  Anyway, it is very important for them to have some pillow and they cannot have the covers near their face in particular their mouth.  I have to remind Mommy about this every time she tucks us in.

November 20 - November 26, 2007
(3 years 12 weeks)

I like to reminisce about the good ol' days.  Particularly during the time when I was just a baby.  I like to say things like "When I was a baby I used to crawl."   Or "When I was a baby I used to say hop instead of bunny."  And then I usually following it up by saying very matter of factly "Yes, that's right.  That's what I used to say."

I am also on a "twin" kick.  I have lots of twins.  For example Amelia and I are twins because we have the same brown flower shoes.  And most recently I have two more twins - Sophie and Ellie.  Sophie and I are twins because we have the same ducky slippers and Ellie and I have the same winter boots.

We went to the Botanic Gardens to see the Wonderland Express exhibit.  There were a lot of model trains and fake snow fell from the ceiling (it was soap suds).  It was a lot of fun.  After we walked around Daddy and I made a snowflake and a bracelet of food for the animals out of popcorn and cranberries.

November 13 - November 19, 2007
(3 years 11 weeks)

Ian and I have become really good playmates.  There are still many times that I like to provoke him but more often than not I actually like when we play together.  We play in Ian's ball pit fairly regularly.  It's one of the places that we hide from the Naughty (Lion/Bear/Dragon).  We also like building towers together with blocks, chasing each other, and playing cars or in the kitchen together.  I still say "No Ian' about a thousand times a day but that's to be expected I guess.

November 6 - November 12, 2007
(3 years 10 weeks)

We had a two day break at school so Mommy packed up Ian and I and we went to see Ma.  I love spending time with Ma.  I want her to help me with everything and I want to be with her all the time.  We went to the children's museum one of the days we were visiting.  We also made strawberry rice crispy treats with pink marshmallows!  We had the best time (as you can see below).

"Let's Go!"

October 30 - November 5, 2007
(3 years 9 weeks)

We had our Halloween party at school on Tuesday.  Mommy came and helped the class make trick or treat bags using paint and Halloween stickers.  She then stayed with me until the end of the day.  It was nice having Mommy at school.  I like to call times like these "special Mommy and Rachel days."

On Halloween we had our 3rd annual Halloween party.  There were two princesses, a Buzz light year, a race car driver, a mermaid, a Dalmatian, a transformer, a Tinkerbelle, and a Tigger.  Trick or treating was really fun.  I can't wait to eat ALL my candy.  Mommy and Daddy have been rationing it out I get only one or two pieces a day AND only if I've been a good listener, or have eaten all my lunch/dinner.  You can't believe the restrictions that they've put on obtaining my hard earned treats!  It's almost like I have to earn them all over again AND in triplicate!

Happy 92nd Birthday - Grandma Gigi!
