Daddy went to Paris and Ma came to visit. We've been
having a great time. We went to the Children's Museum and we got sick
two days later. Ma came to school with me and read a story to my
class. It was called Bonjour Butterfly it was an appropriate story
since it is a Fancy Nancy book and Ma's name is Nancy and Daddy was in Paris
where they say bon jour. Ma and I also went to the library and we
picked out the Barbie Fairytopia DVD. I was sad when it was time for
her to go home. We all drove her to the train in the city. I was
sick so I was going to miss school anyway. Maybe I can take the train
to go see Ma sometime too.

"All smiles for Ma."

It is official - I am a REAL
princess. Just take a look at my beautiful dress. When I saw it
for the first time I said, "ooh Mommy, I am a real princess now." I
got to wear my very special dress to my friend Sophie's princess party.
We played in her princess ballroom and ate princess cupcakes. It was
so delightful.
Mommy had a birthday this
week too. I have been telling everybody how old she is and I have been
telling them her real age not the 29 she jokes about - silly Mommy.
Speaking of age - I am now 3 and a half. I am very proud of this fact.

Growing Up - Sometimes I tell Mommy that I am not going to
suck my thumb or walk on my toes on (insert day). I
realize that I will outgrow these habits but I am not sure if
today is that day.

Happy Birthday to Wilson, Happy Birthday
to Wilson! Wilson turned six this week. He's getting to be such
a big boy! We made special dog cupcakes rather than a whole cake this
year. And we were lucky, there was just enough dough for six cupcakes.
Both Ian and I helped Wilson blow out his candles since he can't really
blow. He did get to make his own wish and I think that he wished he
could eat a cupcake (which of course he did).
On Valentine's Day, I got a very special
Valentine from Daddy - a beautiful princess card and a box of Godiva
truffles. Then later that morning, Mommy came to school and helped
with our class party. When we did the five little valentines I got to
be the Valentine that was covered in lace. Then the Mommies got to
take a turn and Mommy and I were the Valentine with a funny face. I
gave princess Valentines to my friends and I got Valentines from all of my
school friends. I really liked Valentine's Day.

Ian is my brother and my friend. I
like to help him and we play together. We like chasing and playing
with his cars. Today we got to paint together. Ian painted on
the bottom of the paper and I painted on the top because I am taller.
Sometimes I act like a Mommy to Ian and I say "Ian if you play with that car
one more time I am going to take it away" when he is playing and should be
eating. One of Ian's latest words is "Mine." I'd like to think
that I can take credit for him learning that one.
I started ice skating with Daddy this
week. I rent skates but Daddy has his own. It's hard to stand up
on the ice but I am going to work hard. My friends Daniel and Cassie
are in my class too. We have skating after gymnastics and lunch.
Saturdays are busy and fun Daddy and Rachel days.

I've decided that Pa should now be called Grandpa. I
sometimes slip and say Pa but then I catch myself and go into a long
explanation where I rationalize why it's ok to sometimes call Pa - Pa but
now that I am big I will call him Grandpa but sometimes I might still call
him Pa. A few days after I made the decision about Pa I decided to
call Ma Grandma as well.
Grandpa took me to see the Chinese Dragon Acrobats. I
liked the ladies with the umbrellas the best. They spun them really
fast. I have been pretending that I am an acrobat who does tricks.
I'll balance on one leg and turn my body or I'll put my leg up high on a
chair and lean way over. I inform whoever is watching that this is a
really tricky move.
