Mommy took Ian and I to the Botanic
Gardens. We got some pepper plants and a big pretzel to share.
We then went to the miniature train garden. It was fun to watch the
trains. Ian was very excited to see them. I liked the candy
train the best. One of the cars looks like a tootsie roll.
During the week I am busy with camp.
On the weekends we are usually seeing friends but this weekend we went to a
birthday party for Jada. I had a lot of fun gathering up candy from
the piñata.

I have learned that jokes are
funny and I have been trying my best to tell them. Some of my first
jokes go like this.
"Knock, Knock" (who's

Grandma came to visit for
Ian's 2nd birthday. We had a very nice time. She slept in my bed
and I got to sleep in Ian's big boy bed. He's still too scared to
sleep in it himself. Ma left me a special Fancy Nancy book. Ma's
name is Nancy too.

June 10 - June 16, 2008

We drove all the way to Oakville, Ontario to celebrate my
Great-Great Aunt's 100th birthday! 100 is a big number (I can't count
that high yet). I got to see Snow White and Cinderella 2 in the car on
the way there. I liked Snow White the best. We saw a lot of
family over the weekend. People came in from France, Australia, the US
and other parts of Canada to celebrate. Mommy let me use her camera to
take pictures of the family. I did a pretty good job if I do say so.
Maybe I'll have to work on a new Photo Documentary entry to commemorate the
event. I learned to say hello, goodbye, and thank you en français.
bon jour, au revoir, and merci. I also know to say "ça va" when
someone says "Comment ça va?" to me. I need to start working on
learning French so that i can speak well when I go to Paris next year
(hopefully).

I spent my first week of vacation eating McDonalds 3 times!
You're probably thinking "Wow! How can I get parents like that!"
When in reality, it was just pure luck on my part. Grandma Gigi moved
into her new retirement condo this week and I was helping her move so Pa
picked up McDonalds one Day, Mommy another Day, and Daddy yet another day.
Mommy tells me that there won't be any McDonalds for a few weeks when she
realized that I had become one with the Happy Meal. The only bad thing
was that the toys are awful right now. Once Grandma Gigi moved in we
had a nice dinner at her new place. I even ordered off the menu
myself. I selected tomato soup, hard boiled eggs, cucumbers, and the
fruit plate.
Oh, I forgot to mention. I got my hair cut on May 31.
It was my 3rd official haircut - and my 2nd in a year. I wanted it to
be shorter like Sara's (she is in the dark under the umbrella) but just a
little longer.
