Uncle Jeffrey and Aunt Lauren came over for Thanksgiving.  I was really happy to see them and the family.  I got to see them three days in a row.  I had a little stomach bug earlier in the week but I was feeling much better by Turkey day.  Daddy was home all week too which was a nice surprise. 

I got to wear my new dress for Thanksgiving.  If you didn't already know.  I really like wearing dresses.  Unfortunately this cold weather is making it harder to do even with tights.  Some days are just pants days. 

I am hooked on Eney Meanie Miney Moe.  Daddy taught it to me and I do it to decide any number of things.  Like what to wear, who takes a bath first, what snack to eat.  It's amazing how easy it is to make a decision.  It's just a little more time consuming.  I've modified it a little, "and my mother told me to pick the REALLY best one and I pick you!"  I also change what I am catching.  Like for Thanksgiving it's been catch a Turkey and if he gobbles let him go.  I'm pretty creative like that.

Mommy made a deal with me this week.  She said that I didn't have to get a flu shot if she cried when she got hers.  I told her deal and I was pretty sure that I was going to get out of getting one this year.  Well, that was until Thursday when I went with her to get her flu shot.  I stood very still and watched while the nurse cleaned Mommy's arm and got the shot ready.  Then to my utter shock and amazement all she said was "ouch" when she got poked!  Well there goes all my hopes of not getting a shot.  I told her that it didn't look too bad and that I'd go before Ian so that he wouldn't be scared (we go on Monday).

On Sunday, we went to my friend Cassie's house for dinner and we made our own pizzas!  It was a lot of fun and they were super tasty but we were a little to busy playing to really eat much. 

The shot saga continues...well I got out of getting my shot after all!  An hour before we were supposed to leave I decided to throw up.  Not from nerves, I actually wound up having a stomach flu of sorts.  I hope that I feel better by Thanksgiving!

The Belles of the ball at Rachel C's 5th birthday.  We all got to wear our favorite princess dresses to her party.  Then it was time for the hair curling station, make-up station, and nail painting.  It was a very glamorous event totally befitting a princess like myself.  It was also the first time I got to wear eye shadow - sparkly eye shadow.

I've stolen Mommy's bedtime buddy - no not Daddy - Wilson!  He's is sleeping in MY room on MY bed and I like it.  He is warm and I am not alone.  Mommy has to wear socks to bed now and isn't too happy that her heater is missing.  Daddy on the other hand is glad that Wilson's snoring is no longer waking him up all night.  Wilson still prefers to sleep on Daddy's pillow during the day.  Poor Daddy.

I voted on Tuesday, November 4 with Mommy.  I have been quite the presidential candidate race watcher.  I know all about Barack Obama and John McCain.  I've seen the debates.  I've watched the political talk shows.  I voted in school and I've decided that Barack Obama is my candidate (no help from Mommy or Daddy on this one).  I originally was thinking John McCain but then I changed my mind.  Just like I changed my mind from wanting to marry Daniel to wanting to marry Ryan.  I guess you could compare the two like this.  Daniel is to Ryan as John McCain is to Barack Obama - I digress.
